Just a quick update:
Our tree made it to Candlemass (Feb 2nd) -- sort of. February 2nd fell on Monday but the tree and all the Christmas decorations came down on Saturday -- we're just too busy during the week. I felt guilty about taking down the tree as it was still drinking water and producing fresh sap. It was an unbelievable tree! But....it was time to move on from Christmas -- especially since Septuagesima is this Sunday.
And now -- the house feels empty and bare. :-( Only 11 months to go until Christmas 2009!!!
